Official Airforce response to “Civil Action Team improves quality of life for Palau residents”

Merirei Media Group would like to extend our thanks to “JasMas Kazuma” for posting this response from JOEL BANJO-JOHNSON, Capt, USAF to our Facebook page.

Hafa Adai Sir/Ma’am,
Appreciate the feedback regarding our article “Civil Action Team improves quality of life for Palau residents.” We take your input very seriously, value your feedback and are sorry to hear that our article has been received negativ
ely.

Airman 1st Class Henderson is a new and motivated member of our team who unfortunately has not yet had the opportunity to travel to Palau. The intent of the article was not meant to paint a negative picture of Palau nor was it meant to imply Palau was lacking capacity or sophistication as Palau (as you know) is also a popular tourist destination, especially for diving. Our article meant to highlight the action of Airmen who contribute to a joint effort with Palauan craftsmen, an effort that is successful due to the partnership…a partnership that we are thankful for.

We apologize for the impression our article has caused and are modifying the phrasing and structure of the sentences, changes which you will see very soon.
Thank you again for the feedback.

V/r,
JOEL BANJO-JOHNSON, Capt, USAF
