SAKUDI outfielder, Liz Lebria completed the Belau Amateur Softball League Women Divisionâ€™s regular season hitting base hits in every game to claim the batting champion title.
Her 2-for-4 feat that included a two-run single in the last regular season game helped her surpassed GSM Babesâ€™ pitcher Eddilyn Benjamin who also consistently made it to the top three in batting leadersâ€™ list since the season started in March.
Lebria had 21 base hits at 32 at-bats to earn an average of .656.
Benjamin had 19 hits out of her total 29 at-bats for an average of .655.
Chagi Norfâ€™s Julie Omar, who at one time, topped the batting list fell to No. 5, with 15 base hits at 26 at-bats for an average of .577.
It was GSM Babesâ€™ Catalina Dela Cruz who climbed to the third place over the last three weeks completing the season with 16 hits out of 27 at-bats and earned an average of .592.
Also climbing to the fourth seat was Rookiesâ€™ Didi Towai who caught up with early batting leaders, her team mate, Brenda Camacho and GSM Babesâ€™ Erlinda Naputi.
Towai had 17 base hits out of 29 at-bats to earn an average of .586.
Naputi had 15 hits out of 26 at-bats for an average of .577 while Camacho, 14 out of 25 at-bats for an average of .560.
