Getting them home – search continues for WW2 soldiers MIA on Palau

Seventy years after the end of World War Two, the search for US servicemen missing in action on Palau is still going on.

The latest remains to be recovered by a team from the non-government organisation known as the Bentprop Project have left the island for further analysis.

But the search is far from over, and Bernadette Carreon in Koror says the mission to find out what happened to some eighty American soldiers who are still unaccounted for, has become a regular part of life in post-war Palau.
