[Audio] Palau’s President joins fellow Pacific leaders for climate talks in Japan

The President of Palau, Tommy Remengesau Junior, is in Japan for the seventh edition of PALM, the Pacific Alliance Leaders Meeting which opens in the city of Iwaki later today.

The topic of climate change will be high on the agenda as the Pacific nations seek to build momentum ahead of the UN Climate Change Conference in France in December.

But Bernadette Carreon in Koror, says PALM will also provide an opportunity for the President to enhance Palau’s bi-lateral relationship with Tokyo.
