In celebration of its twentieth anniversary as part of the Pacific community, Matson Navigation Company Inc. recently launched a scholarship program with Palau Community College.
The scholarship will support the educational endeavors of two PCC students enrolled full-time in any of the following degree programs: air-conditioning and refrigeration, automotive mechanics technology, or traditional non-instrumental navigation.
Recipients of the Matson scholarship will receive $500 each school year ($250 per semester) in support of their academic studies.
Matson Navigation Company Inc. general manager Bernadette N. Valencia presented the scholarship funds to PCC vice president of administration and finance Jay Olegeriil on Monday, July 25, 2016.

The company has been a strong supporter of the degree programs and academic services provided at Palau Community College by continuously donating to the PCC Endowment Fund.
